Can you ship a gun directly to my home or place of employment?

No. Firearm sales are regulated by the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (commonly called the ATF). According to federal law, firearms cannot be shipped directly to a home or a workplace. A firearm may only be shipped to and from a Federally Licensed Firearms dealer (FFL).

All firearms must be shipped to a Federally Licensed Firearms dealer (FFL). However, ammunition and accessories can be shipped directly to your house.

How old do I have to be to purchase a firearm?

You must be 18 or older to purchase a rifle or shotgun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun.


Where can I find a local FFL dealer near me?

Refer to your local business directory and look under firearm dealers, sporting goods stores, gun ranges, pawn shops or the likes and ask if they are an FFL.

Returns & Exchanges

Firearms are not returnable and once they leave our shop are considered used guns. In some cases we will repurchase these used guns or accept them as trade in on different models but only at our sole discretion.


Warranty

All warranties on stock firearms are handled through the manufacturer according to the terms and policies set forth by each.


FFL Transfers

To arrange for the transfer of a firearm please contact Red Ryder Armory by email: [email protected]


Incoming Transfer

To have a firearm shipped to RRA, please provide us with your contact information, the make and model of the firearm and the seller's contact information.

Email us with the seller's email address so that we can then provide them with a copy of our FFL. 

We will contact you once we receive the firearm.

Transfer Fee: $25.00 per firearm plus $5.00 FDLE background check fee. Cash only, we do not accept checks or credit cards for transfers.

Unclaimed or Delinquent Transfers

Incoming Transfers not picked up within 30 calendar days from arrival will be charged a storage fee of $1.50 per calendar day.  Transfers not picked up within 120 calendar days of arrival, become the property of  RRA.


Outgoing Transfer

To arrange for the shipment of your firearm to another FFL holder, please contact us for a shipping estimate. Firearms will need to be properly packaged prior to shipment, or additional cost to cover packaging will be incurred. All firearms will need to be inspected and the serial number recorded prior to shipping.


How Do I Buy a Gun Online?

Buying guns online is both safe and easy, plus it saves you time and money. However, there are certain Federal and Local laws that must be obeyed.

Federal Firearms Laws prevent us from shipping firearms directly to you. Instead, we ship any firearm purchased on our site to a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer in your area.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Make your purchase online.
  2. Find an FFL dealer in your area that will accept the transfer of your firearm. Most dealers, which include sporting goods stores, pawn shops, gunsmiths and gun stores, are willing to do this for a nominal fee.   3. Have your dealer email us a copy of their valid and signed FFL form to [email protected]. IMPORTANT:Please make sure your dealer includes your order number, as well as your name with the FFL.
  4. Once we have received the FFL, we will ship your order to your dealer and you will receive a confirmation of shipment via email.
  5. Once your dealer receives your firearm, they will contact you and you can complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up your firearm.

Layaway Plan

Like to buy an item from us, but don’t quite have enough money on hand to purchase today?

Consider taking advantage of our Easy Layaway Plan-90 days.

  • A $200 minimum purchase is required.
  • Layaways require a minimum 20% deposit.
  • Only firearms are eligible for this program.
  • During the initial 90-day period, you make several smaller payments or one final payment at the end of the 90 days.
  • Layaways canceled at any time for any reason will be subject to a penalty fee equal to 20% of the total sale price (i.e. the initial deposit).
  • Layaways not paid in full within the 90-day period will incur a $30 fee.
  • Layaways not paid in full within a 120-day period will be canceled. All paid in amounts will be forfeited.
  • You may have one active layaway at a time. But, once you pay off a layaway, feel free to start another one!
